Mini Heroes: Summoners War Guide and Tips

Introduction to Mini Heroes: Summoners War

Your journey to become a legendary hero in Mini Heroes: Summoners War starts with your default character – a cute anime samurai warrior chased by a group of bandits when suddenly he is hit by a mysterious, unhuman form of life.

This thing awakens his hidden ancient powers and turns him into a mighty warrior. Once you’ve chosen a name for your profile, you will be sent into a 1 on 1 battle to learn the combat basics.

But this is only the beginning of your journey. Soon you will have to face all sorts of monsters, bandits, and tough bosses, and increase your team of heroes to match your opponents’ power.

As you progress through the game, you can upgrade your team with new skills and more powerful weapons, which we will explain in this guide.

Managing resources and currencies

As you advance in the game, you will accumulate various resources and currencies to help strengthen your team. Knowing how to manage these resources and utilize them properly is essential for success. The main resources and currencies in the game are:

Vigor points – this special resource is the first one displayed at the top of your screen and is essential for combat. Each challenge you begin will consume a specific number of Vigor points. While this resource will regenerate automatically, 1 point every 5 minutes, there other ways to obtain it as well.

You can get Vigor points with diamonds (50 diamonds will give you 100 Vigor points), from Daily Gifts, Privilege Shop, World Mode, Daily Feast, and Legion Party.

Resources and currencies Mini Heroes Summoners War

Gold – This is the primary currency in the game and you will need it to upgrade weapons and cultivate heroes (will increase their stats and unlock new skills). You can earn gold from Mainline battles, Privilege Shop, Daily Login rewards, Treasure Chests, and many more.

Diamonds – These are a premium currency and have a more general purpose. You can use them to purchase Vigor points and other valuable items in the game. You can also use gems to increase your VIP level to gain more power and daily benefits. You can get diamonds from Daily Gifts and Daily Logins, VIP Privilege, Treasure Chests, and completing various event tasks.

Recruit Orders – These items can be used to recruit heroes. You can get these from completing tasks (see the Tasks tab), Battle Pass, Event Notice, Daily rewards, Black Market, Honor Shop, and Weekly Donation Goals.

Hero EXP – You can use these to upgrade your heroes. You can get them directly or in the form of EXP potions. They can be earned from completing certain event tasks, Title tasks, and clearing chapters in the Mainline mode.

Customize your game profile

Profile customization, changing the nickname and avatar

If you are looking for new challenges or maybe a way to stand out from the crowd, you can customize your game profile in the Profile tab. Here you will find various options such as background images, avatars, avatar frames, and some basic info about you such as your Legion, nickname, or your current title.

While the nickname can be changed for free for the first time, your title, the same as unlocking new avatars or avatar frames, requires more effort and time. Nevertheless, it’s worth investing a bit of your time if you want to make your profile look unique and cool.

Recruit heroes the right way

Recruiting heroes in groups of 10 in Mini Heroes: Summoners War

Your heroes are the ones who will make or break your team, so it’s important to be smart when recruiting new ones. The best way to do this is by always recruiting them in groups of 10. This means that you should avoid using your Recruit Orders by piece and save them up to recruit 10 heroes at once.

This will give you a much higher chance of getting better quality heroes and help you get the guaranteed SSR hero at 20 recruits quicker.

Upgrade and cultivate your best heroes

Upgrading a hero in Mini Heroes: Summoners War

Once you get yourself a few strong SSR (gold) or SR (purple) heroes, it’s time to make them even stronger. The best way to do this is by increasing their levels with Hero EXP items. This will increase their stats and make them more efficient in battle.

You can also increase the level of their skills and their tiers via the Cultivate tab. But for this, you will need to have at least a Role level 8 (role level is basically your player level) and own a few Spirit medals (Tiger Spirit, Turtle Spirit, Kylin Spirit, and so on).

Claim your quick rewards

While spending some money on the game can help you progress faster, there are plenty of ways to get rewards without spending any real cash. One of these is by tapping the gold’s plus button at the top of your screen whenever you see the red bubble notification on it.

From this pop-up window, you can collect 10,000 gold 5 times a day. The first is free, while the other 4 will cost you diamonds at a discounted rate.

Another way to get rewards is to collect your daily freebies from the VIP, Daily, and Limited Gifts tabs. These include things like gold, EXP potions, Skill points, and Hero EXP among others. To access this page, tap the “Recharge” diamond icon while on the Home screen.

Lastly, you should also check your in-game mailbox frequently as you might receive valuable items whenever the dev team holds an event or launches a major update.

Keep on clearing Mainline Chapters

Mainline is your campaign mode where you can get rewards by defeating various bosses and enemy squads. As a beginner to Mini Heroes: Summoners War, you should focus on clearing as many Mainline Chapters as possible because each new chapter unlocks new features for you.

For instance, the World mode, which gives you the possibility to fight other players from around the world, becomes available once you clear Chapter 4.

Not only that, but you also get a ton of amazing rewards just by clearing these stages, which will help you level up faster.

Login for 7 days in a row

Another excellent way to get more rewards in Mini Heroes: Summoners War is to log in consecutively for 7 days. Each day you will get valuable rewards that will help you get stronger, the 7th day being the most rewarding one. If you miss a day in between, your streak will be reset and you will have to start from the beginning. Here’s what you get:

  • Day 1 – a bag with 1,000 gold
  • Day 2 – 20 Purple Horse Tokens that you can use to get a random purple horse
  • Day 3 – a random Gem Box
  • Day 4 – 20 Gold Weapon Tokens which can be converted into one random gold weapon
  • Day 5 – 1,000 Diamonds
  • Day 6 – 10 Recruit Orders
  • Day 7 – a random SSR-quality hero

Get yourself a new title

Completing Title tasks

The title feature we mentioned before, is not just a way to show off. It also gives you access to new features such as the possibility to promote/cultivate your heroes. By default, as a new player, you have the “Populace” title.

But once you complete all 5 tasks listed on the Task page, you will get the “Official” title, a new shiny avatar frame, 10 Recruit Orders, and a few EXP potions that once used offer 1,000 Hero EXP each. Plus, you also get 20 diamonds for every task you complete, so it’s definitely something you should aim for.

Take part in events to get great rewards

Besides Mainline, Mini Heroes: Summoners War also has daily and weekly events. These can range from treasure hunts, Hero Collection Gifts (you get rewards every time you recruit a new SSR hero), or Casino (which allows you to double or even triple the number of spent diamonds).

You also have the Daily Feasts event where you can collect Vigor points 3 times a day but only during a specific time frame. All these events offer great rewards, so make sure to check them out as soon and claim the rewards before they expire.
