The world of Bloodline: Heroes of Lithas is huge and full of adventure! It features different clans, races, and even the possibility of romance. You must lead your city to greatness while raising powerful champions to fight by your side.
But knowing what to focus on from the beginning can be tough. In this guide, you’ll find beginner tips and tricks to get started on your journey through Bloodline: Heroes of Lithas.
1. Follow the Development Guide’s suggested quests
The suggested quests via the Development Guide should be your main focus as a beginner. These tasks will help guide you through the main storyline and provide valuable rewards such as resources, experience, and new champions.
Avoid doing random tasks to conserve resources for storyline quests. That’s because there is a high chance of getting the same task you previously completed, and you won’t have enough resources like Gold or Food to finish it (it happened to me a few times in the beginning). These quests can be found above the game’s chat bar, in the bottom right area of your screen.
2. Get your first epic and rare companions
Companions are a crucial part of your team in Bloodline: Heroes of Lithas. They can be used to create new heroes with unique skills, classes and attributes that can greatly enhance your gameplay. This feature become available after clearing the 15th stage of the first chapter in the campaign mode and it will offer you Travain as the first companion.
While she is ok to begin with, she has a 1-star rating and is a Common rarity, which means she will offer poor-quality traits for the heirs you create. Luckily, you can get a few more companions via these methods:
- Doing Exploration missions
- Completing stage 3-20 to get Karg, a 2-star companion
- Collecting 48 shards for a specific companion
- Summoning new companions with tokens from events
- Opening purple chests from Dungeon Descent (unlocked at stage 8-1)

3. Keep an eye out for these epic challenges
As a beginner in Bloodline: Heroes of Lithas, there are 3 epic challenges you should be aware of and try to complete as soon as they are available. These challenges are called the “Might Challenge”, the “Campaign Challenge”, and the “Intimacy Challenge”.
Might Challenge
During this contest, participating players will be ranked based on their Might, which can be gained by developing Districts, leveling up Champions, and cultivating Companions. At the end of the contest, players will receive unique rewards based on their spot on the leaderboard.
When two players have the same amount of Might, the one who completed the challenge first will be ranked higher. The rewards include Summoning Crystals, Courting Bouquets, Senate Orders, Stamina Potions, Gold Chests and many more.
Campaign Challenge
During this challenge, you will be ranked based on your Campaign progress. This also offers amazing rewards for those who can complete the stages quickly and rank among the top players. These include Gold Tokens to enhance equipment and gain XP, Energy Potions, Senate Orders, Diamonds and Stamina Potions.
Intimacy Challenge
The Intimacy Challenge is a special event where players will be ranked by sending gifts to Companions. In case you forgot to claim your rewards before the end of the event, they will be sent directly to your mailbox.
The rewards include Exquisite Chalice tokens, which can be used to randomly summon new companions, Love Packs that offer between 2 to 5 Intimacy points, Challenge Tickets to challenge other players in the Arena, and many more.
4. Use hero copies to increase star levels
Champion Ascension is one of the best ways to increase power in Bloodline: Heroes of Lithas. For this you will need to consume duplicates of the same champion or its other version (female or male), or random champions of the same tier, and sometimes both.
It depends on the number of stars your hero has and its rarity (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, or Mythic). Once you have multiple copies of a champion, visit the Altar building and select the one you want to increase its star level.
5. Grab all your daily freebies to progress faster
The faster you advance through the game, the better you chances are to compete against top-ranking players during various events. That’s why it’s important to grab all your daily freebies that can help you progress faster. The following will offer you the best rewards:
- Seven Days Login – log in every day for seven days and complete the required tasks
- Store – you get a free item daily in the General Store tab
- Mailbox – check your mailbox daily for rewards from events or maintenance gifts
- Feature – can be found on the left side of the main screen and it will give you Diamonds, Gold, Food and other resources each time you unlock a new feature. So don’t forget to visit this page from time to time.
6. Use Senate Orders to solve more issues
Senate Orders in Bloodline: Heroes of Lithas are valuable items that can be used to instantly get new “issues”, once you complete the 6 daily ones. Why do you need to solve issues you ask? Because it’s a quick way to get more resources.
Each issue will offer you 3 choices, each offering either food, gold, or a random resource if you pick the third one. These issues can be found in the Senate building, and Senate Orders can be earned through challenges, as mentioned above, and daily quests.
7. Collect guardian promotion rewards
Guardian Promotion is another handy feature for new players of this medieval game. This is located under your profile page and can be upgraded with Might.
Once you reach the required Might points, you can promote your Guardian and receive rewards such as Vigour Potion to restore Carouse for your companions, Stamina and Energy potions, Senate Orders and much more.
The higher the promotion level, the better the rewards. Don’t forget to check this feature from time to time to upgrade your Guardian when possible and tap the gift icon to get a small number of diamonds.
8. Maximize the District earnings
The District features multiple resource buildings that you can unlock, upgrade, hire workers and assign heroes to increase the auto-gathering rate of resources and gain more gold or food per hour.
There are four main Districts related to Entertainment, Agriculture, Trade, and Industry. You can unlock new districts by completing campaign stages.
Useful Tip: Use Charisma from courting companions to level up the Companionship sections. This will also increase the number of resources generated per hour in Districts.
The accumulated resources are deposited in the Treasury, the bag of coins located in the bottom-right corner, and you need to tap it and collect the resources manually. Make sure to check your Districts regularly to upgrade buildings, assign workers, and maximize your earnings.
9. Join a guild for more tips and tricks
The Guild system becomes available in Bloodline: Heroes of Lithas winning the stage 2-25, and it is a crucial aspect of the game. Joining a guild will offer you access to various features like Guild Raid, Chests, and a rewards Vault for all members.
The Guild Raids is where each member can challenge a boss several times a day to earn contribution rewards and guild chests. But this is not all about the guild system.
