I’m new to the game and wondering, will the hero Marshall be available in the Tavern for free like Murphy once he’s released? I don’t see him on my account right now. Or do I need to buy a pack to get him?

Yes, Marshall will be available later on. Just like other heroes, he’ll eventually be unlocked for free through the Tavern as your server gets older (It depends on how old the server is, not the account). So if you don’t plan to spend, patience is the key.

I was about to say the same thing. Yes, all heroes are available later in the game, is just that they are not all visible on the newly created servers.
