In Season 3, is it better to stick with tanks or switch to air? I must mention that there’s a 3 million power difference between them in my case.

If you’ve got enough resources to keep upgrading your tanks, then tanks are the better choice. They give damage reduction against monsters in Season 3, you definitely need those. The power gap doesn’t matter as much as their utility here.
