Besides drone parts and battle data, does VS now only give points for opening chip chests on day 1 and component chests on day 3? What about crafting or applying chips?

You can craft drone chips via the Chip Lab building.
From what I’ve seen, there’s nothing in the event rules that mentions getting points for crafting or applying chips, so it looks like those don’t count. The good part is that we now get Premium Chip Materials as extra rewards when opening chests 3, 6, and 9, which in my opinion it totally worth it.

I was wondering the same thing and I hope not because I already crafted plenty of chips so far haha
