Alliance Duel is a weekly event in the popular mobile game, Last War Survival. In this event, your alliance competes against another from a different server (or even the same server sometimes). It lasts from Monday to Saturday, with each day featuring different tasks. By completing them you earn points that contribute to your alliance’s victory.
Winning these daily challenges not only gives you nice rewards but also contributes to your final rewards. Individual performance is also rewarded with chests that include unique items like Valor badges, a special currency required to research advanced techs.
In this guide, we’ll go over each day’s tasks in detail and share some tips on how to score more points during the Alliance Duel event!
How to get better rewards during Alliance Duel
There is no brainer here that the more chests you unlock, the better rewards you’ll get. But besides that, you should:
- Always coordinate your tasks in the Alliance Duel with the corresponding themes of the Arms Race event.
- Avoid doing all tasks immediately after the daily reset; instead, follow the specific day’s overlap with the Arms Race themes.
- Unlock all 9 chests: You start with only 3. Research Premium Rewards (tiers 4 to 6) to unlock chests 4 to 6, then research Super Bonus to unlock chests 7 to 9.
- Use our printable Arms Race Tracker to plan your week: track completed tasks, earned points, and strategies for each day’s theme across all six phases. See overlaps at a glance, monitor progress, and time actions to unlock chests efficiently. Includes 2 PDF sizes (A4 and US Letter 8.5″ x 11″), 7 pages per file, room for hole punches on either side, and it prints in color or black and white.

For instance, in our case, the current Alliance Duel theme for that day was Total Mobilization. These tasks overlap with the current ones in the Arms Race – City Building.
As you can see in the video, we unlocked all 9 chests during the Total Mobilization day of the Alliance Duel event and all 3 chests during the CityBuilding theme of the Arms Race event on the same day. This ranked us first in the Arms Race leaderboards of that theme. So always check the Arms Race and Alliance Duel before proceeding with your upgrades.
Note: During server resets, no points are awarded for the first 5 minutes. Make sure the new day’s duel has started by checking the event details page before starting activities.
Now, let’s dive into the daily tasks!
Day 1: Radar Training
On the first day, the main tasks include completing radar missions, using stamina, and training drones. Use stamina for attacks, rallies, and radar missions, as each stamina point used will contribute to your overall score.
Additionally, use Hero XP points to upgrade your heroes, and don’t forget to train your drone using Battle Data earned from hunting world map zombies and radar missions.
Tip: To get the most out of this day, overlap these activities with the Drone Boost theme of the Arms Race, where using stamina and Battle Data points can give you extra rewards.
Stack radar missions the day before so you can finish them on the required day to earn maximum points. And by stacking I mean completing all missions on the map without collecting the rewards.
Also, make sure to open Drone Data Chip chests and Drone Component chests only on this day to maximize your points.
Day 2: Base Expansion
The second day focuses on base expansion activities such as using construction speedups, increasing building power, dispatching the Legendary Trade Truck to finish buildings and increase your power quickly, performing Legendary Secret Tasks, and recruiting survivors.
Some key tips to win this day include starting upgrading buildings the day before and completing them on this day by tapping their gift boxes.
Use construction speedups to finish buildings and increase your power quickly. Dispatch at least one Legendary Trade Truck as it offers the highest number of points and perform Legendary Secret Tasks during the Secret Mobile Squad event.
These types of missions will also drop map fragments as we covered in our resource guide so watch that as well if wanna learn how to get more resources. Accumulate recruitment tickets and use them to recruit survivors on this day.
Coordinate these tasks with the city-building theme of the Arms Race. Using construction speedups and increasing building power during this theme will help you earn extra points and rewards.
Day 3: Age of Science
Day three is dedicated to scientific advancements. Complete radar missions you stacked from the previous day, use research speedups, and increase your tech power by completing research tasks.
Use Valor badges for specific research in the “Alliance Duel,” “Intercity Truck,” or “Special Forces” sections. Opening Drone Component Chests on this day will also add to your points.
Tip: Align these activities with the Arms Race Tech Research theme to gain additional rewards. By using research speedups and increasing tech power during this theme, you maximize your points for both the Alliance Duel and the Arms Race.
Day 4: Train Heroes
The focus of the fourth day is on hero development. Use Legendary Recruitment Tickets, which you should have accumulated before, to recruit new heroes.
Calculate Hero EXP points to upgrade your heroes, and use hero shards to increase their tier. Skill medals and exclusive weapon shards also play a crucial role in enhancing your heroes’ abilities and contributing to your points.
This day overlaps with the Hero Advancement theme of the Arms Race, making it the best time to do advanced recruitment and use your Hero XP points for maximum rewards.
Day 5: Total Mobilization
On the fifth day, the tasks include completing radar missions, using construction and research speedups, increasing building and tech power, using training speedups, and training units.
You can prepare for this day by stacking radar missions, starting building upgrades, and beginning research the day before. Use training speedups to prepare and train as many soldiers as possible, focusing on upgrading low-level soldiers.
Coordinate these activities with the City Building, Tech Research, and Unit Progression themes of the Arms Race. By doing so, you ensure that using speedups and increasing power in these areas will earn you maximum points and rewards.
Day 6: Enemy Buster
The final day is all about defeating enemy troops. This gotta be the most popular event in the game. If you enjoy PvP combat you don’t wanna skip this.
Tip: You should prepare your base on Friday evening by removing defending squads from the wall and shielding all your farm accounts (if any) to avoid being attacked and losing troops.
Dispatch Legendary Trade Trucks and perform Legendary Secret Tasks to earn significant points. The good thing about this day is that you earn points for defeating enemy troops but also for every unit lost in battle. Ensure your barracks are upgraded, and train as many high-level troops as possible. Use training speedups and heal speedups to keep your troops in fighting condition.
How to score more points during the Alliance Duel
To win the Alliance Duel, you need a good strategy and proper timing. Some tasks can be prepared in advance, but the key is to focus on tasks that give you the highest number of points.
But before proceeding with these tasks, make sure you research all 20 levels of the Duel Expert tech to double all the points received during the Alliance Duel. In addition, each tech related to a specific theme will also help you score more points.
This will help you unlock all chests and get those juicy rewards. That’s because each chest requires a certain number of points to be unlocked – the higher the chest, the more points are required.
In our case, on this specific day, we’ll need at least 540,000 points to open the third chest, 2.3 million for the 6th, and 7.2 million points for the 9th chest.
This concludes our Alliance Duel guide for Last War Survival. If you have any other tips or tricks for this event, please share them in the comments below! Remember to synchronize tasks with the Arms Race themes and prepare activities in advance to gain the most points. Good luck!
