Top 9 ways to get Coal & Titanium Alloy in Season 2

Coal and Titanium Alloy are the most important resources in Season 2 of Last War Survival. You need them to upgrade season buildings, which are key to progressing in this event.

You’ll need Coal to upgrade Titanium Alloy factories and Titanium Alloy to level up the High-heat Furnace. The Furnace is the most important building because it helps warm your base during the extreme blizzards that hit the world map. In this guide, I’ll explain how to collect these resources effectively.

9. First Blood Reward (Zombies and Doom Elites)

One of the easiest ways to get Coal is by defeating Polar Zombies on the map. These monsters replace regular zombies in Season 2 and are harder to kill. To defeat them, your VR (Virus Resistance) must match or exceed the required level. If your VR is too low, you’ll lose a lot of troops and probably fail the battle.

The first time you defeat a Polar Zombie, you get a special “First Blood” reward. You can collect this by tapping the small gift box icon on the map.

Polar Zombies come in three types: Aircraft, Tank, and Missile Vehicle, just like the heroes. Using the right hero type against them can make battles easier. Tank heroes take less damage from Missile Vehicles, Missile heroes are stronger against Aircraft, and Aircraft heroes do more damage to Tank zombies.

8. Dig Site Production

Collecting Coal from dig sites in Season 2 of Last War Survival

Your alliance’s Dig Sites produce large amounts of Coal every day. The more Dig Sites your alliance controls, the more Coal you get.

To claim the Coal, go to Alliance Menu > Alliance City > Produces Coal, then tap “Claim All”.

Note: Each alliance can hold up to 4 Dig Sites at a time. If you want to capture a higher-level city, you’ll need to abandon one of your Dig Sites. Higher-level Dig Sites generate more Coal per hour.

7. Special Radar Missions

Every day, you can earn Coal from a radar mission called “A Distressed Survivor” (usually purple rarity). Sometimes, it appears as orange rarity, giving even more Coal and possibly a UR survivor.

Even the purple missions give around 170,000 Coal, though the amount depends on your radar level. To maximize rewards, complete as many radar missions as possible. This is easier now thanks to the “Quick Perform” button, which lets you finish multiple missions instantly.

6. Supply Collection

You can also collect Coal from Supply Boxes that appear when a captured area reaches 0 degrees or higher. This happens when your alliance captures a city or moves the Alliance Furnace to a new location.

To gather these boxes, send a recon plane by tapping on them. You can collect up to 5 treasures per day, which are stored in your inventory.

Each treasure can only be claimed by 10 players, so be quick! If many players are online after a city is captured, the supply might run out fast.

5. Polar Dishes

The Polar Dishes event is a fun way to collect Coal. This event starts in week two of Season 2 and runs until the end of the season.

You’ll collect four special ingredients: flour, meat, milk, and veggies to cook for a cute puppy named Snowflake. If you make the correct recipes, you can earn up to 650,000 Coal! Even if you make a random recipe, you still get 500,000 Coal.

To see the current recipe, tap the “Recipe” button at the top of the screen. You get ingredients from Daily Tasks and open all five task chests.

If you level up the Engineer profession skills to level 55, you can unlock “One More”, which doubles the rewards from Daily Task chests. You can also trade extra ingredients with allies using the “Trade Ingredients” button.

4. Season 2 Individual Goals

Completing Season 2 Individual Goals gives you Coal, but the amounts are small. For example, upgrading your Furnace to level 1 gives 2,000 Coal, which helps early on but isn’t much later in the season.

At Furnace level 29, you get 30,000 Coal, but that’s not even close to the 2 million Coal needed to upgrade the High-heat Furnace to level 29.

On the bright side, these goals also reward Titanium Alloy, Recruitment Tickets, Skill Reset Books, and Violet Shards.

3. Gate Visitors

Gate visitors that offer Coal resources in Season 2

Sometimes, Gate Visitors bring small amounts of Coal once or twice a day. The amount is low compared to other methods, but it’s still worth checking. These visitors may also bring new survivors. If you want extra survivors, level up the “Random Visitors” skill in the Engineer profession at level 50.

2. Season Battle Pass and Weekly Pass

The Season Battle Pass and Weekly Pass are paid options that give extra Coal and other rewards.

The Season Battle Pass adds extra rewards to season tasks, including Profession XP, Skill Points, Recruitment Tickets, and Gems.

The Weekly Pass isn’t tied to season tasks but gives daily rewards like stamina, 20,000 Coal, and speedups. It also provides 250 VR points and a Titanium Alloy factory.

Each pass lasts one week, and you can buy them again once they expire. If you only plan to buy one, don’t focus too much on leveling the fifth alloy factory—upgrade the others first.

1. Blizzard Individual Goal Rewards

Blizzards are short but intense events that start on day one of Season 2. Each blizzard has different levels, and the stronger the blizzard, the colder it gets.

If your base temperature drops below -20 degrees, a 5-minute countdown starts. If you don’t warm up your base in time, it will freeze, and you won’t be able to use Advanced Teleporters or start rallies.

Tip: To prevent freezing, turn on Furnace Overdrive or ask allies to help warm up your base. Once the blizzard ends, you’ll receive rewards in your event folder in the mail.

These are the best ways to collect Coal and Titanium Alloy in Season 2. Use these strategies to keep your base warm and progress faster during the event!
