But for someone who just started playing Call of Dragons, or a casual player, it can be difficult to figure out which heroes are the most powerful. That’s why we’ve made this Call of Dragons tier list to help you pick the best heroes. Whether you’re building an army for a tough battle or just want to dominate your opponents, this tier list will make sure you pick the right heroes for the job.

Update March 2023: We created a new fancy table for our tier list, and added Velyn, the latest hero included in Call of Dragons.

The top hero of this tier is Baksi, a Legendary hero of the Wilderburg faction. He can deal great damage with his active and passive abilities. The last two Legendary heroes included in this tier are Garwood and Indis, both offering great defense and healing capabilities.

Garwood is the best hero that you can use to protect your City in Call of Dragons, as well as a Deputy in addition to a great damage dealer from the previous tier. They have the lowest damage, rarity, and stats and are not worth spending your resources on unless you have just started playing Call of Dragons and you have no other options. How We Ranked the Heroes

To make our tier list, we’ve taken into account a variety of factors including the hero’s stats, abilities, talents, and active and passive skills. We’ve also taken into account how each hero performs in certain situations, where PvP and Rally are what you should be prioritizing if you want to build a good offensive strategy.

The Role is also taken into account, as specific heroes are better suited for dealing good damage, such as those having the Skills or Precision ability. However, the Mobility role is also important, as fast-moving heroes are a must in any team composition, as it will allow you to quickly attack your enemies or run away from danger.

You’ll notice that we have included only the details for their first skill since it’s the most important skill, as we mentioned in the Call of Dragons hero guide. It is also the only skill available until your hero reaches level 10 and Star Rating 2.

Best pairings and hero combinations in Call of Dragon

The best hero combination or pairing for any team composition in Call of Dragons should always consist of a mix of heroes from the S and A tiers, where those from the S-Tier should always be included as the Commander (main hero) in your legion.

A good example of pairing should be a great damage S-Tier dealer like Hosk or Emrys, plus a hero with the Support ability such as Theia, or a Tank like Madeline. This will ensure that you have both, great damage output and great survivability in your legion.

However, if you are new to Call of Dragons, or your chosen hero does not have at least a 3-star level, you can only have one hero in your legion. But once you reach that level, you can pick a second hero as a Deputy.

What makes a great hero in Call of Dragon

Hero Rarity

Hero’s rarity is the most important factor when it comes to choosing a great hero for your legion in Call of Dragons. There are 3 types of rarities, which are Elite, Epic, and Legendary. The best rarity is Legendary as it has the highest stats and skills, followed by Epic and Elite.

Hero’s role during a battle

The hero’s role is also crucial as some heroes such as those having the Precision, and Skills roles can significantly boost your legion’s damage, while others such as those having the Tank or Support role can provide great defensive capabilities and HP buffs.

The type of units that the hero can lead

This highly depends on your strategy as each type of unit has its own advantages and disadvantages. That’s why having a mixed team of different units is always beneficial in Call of Dragons as it provides a great defensive and offensive advantage. The best heroes in this case are those with the Overall ability as they can lead any type of unit, although other heroes with specialized abilities are also great for certain strategies.

The Chosen Artifact

The chosen Artifact is also a key component in making a great hero in Call of Dragon. These items do not come by default, but as you progress you will be able to get some of the best Artifacts in Call of Dragons, that can help you in your battles. These are the weapons that empower your heroes and their leading units, allowing you to use special abilities and cast powerful spells in battle. Likewise, it is also recommended to upgrade and level up your Artifacts to maximize your heroes’ overall performances.

Conclusion

This concludes our guide on the best heroes to use in Call of Dragons. We hope it has helped you make a more informed decision when choosing which hero to use. Create a legion around the heroes that best suits your strategy and make sure to use their abilities wisely. Happy gaming!
