Call of Dragons Artifacts can significantly impact your heroes’ stats and abilities, so it’s important to choose the right ones for each hero. But since there are over 40 Artifacts currently available in the game, each having its own purpose, it can be overwhelming to decide which ones are the best Artifacts for your Legions. That’s why we created this comprehensive Call of Dragons Artifact tier list that ranks each of them according to their effectiveness and strength in battle.
Update April 2023:
- 4 more Legendary Artifacts have been added to the game since we created this artifact tier list (Storm Arrows, Springbird Feather, Dragonrift, and Wolf-Woman of Haelor)
- The Staff of Spring (Epic) and Amulet of Glory (Epic) artifacts have been replaced by Bomb Flinger (Epic) and Enchiridion of Advanced Incantations (Epic)
- All Legendary Artifacts now have 2 more attributes (4 in total). The third one can be unlocked at artifact level 40 and 5 Stars, while the fourth one at artifact level 50 and 6 Stars

S-Tier: Most powerful Artifacts
These are the most powerful Artifacts in Call of Dragon, and provide huge boosts to your heroes. When used with some of the best Call of Dragons heroes, these Artifacts can make them invincible. All of these amazing items in this tier have a Legendary Rarity, which means that they are harder to get, but their stats and skills make them worth the effort.
Springs of Silence

- Units: Infantry
- Rarity: Legendary

- Role: Assault
- Main Bonuses: Infantry Unit ATK, Legion ATK
- Skill lv.1: Deals Physical Skill damage to up to 3 enemy Legions in a chosen arc (Damage Factor 1,600). Each additional target reduces damage dealt to each target by 15% and slows down damaged Legions, reducing their March Speed by 20% for 10s.
Bloodblade Banner

- Units: All unit types
- Rarity: Legendary
- Mode: Rally
- Role: Assault
- Main Bonuses: Rallied Army ATK, Legion DEF
- Skill lv.1: Once your Rallied Army enters the battle, deals Physical Skill damage once every 30s (Damage Factor 600, scales with ATK), and your Legion gains Physical Keen, increasing their Physical ATK by 5% for 10s.
Shadowblades

- Units: Marksman
- Rarity: Legendary
- Mode: PvP
- Role: Assault
- Main Bonuses: Marksman Unit ATK, Legion ATK
- Skill lv.1: Deals Physical Skill damage to up to 5 enemy Legions in a chosen rectangle (Damage Factor 1,800). Each additional target reduces damage dealt to each target by 15%.
Dragonrift

- Main Bonuses: Infantry Unit ATK, Legion ATK
- Skill lv.1: If the target is defeated after using its skill, your legion gains ATK for a short period of time. Otherwise, the target suffers damage every second for 3s.
Fang of Ashkari

- Skill lv.1: Sets a circle fixed at your Legion’s location and deals damage every second up to for Legions within the circle.
Sorland’s Blade

- Main Bonuses: Cavalry Unit ATK, Legion March Speed
- Skill lv.1: Deals Physical Skill damage to up to 2 enemy Legions in a chosen arc (Damage Factor 1,600). Each additional target reduces damage dealt to each target by 25%. At the same time, the Hero’s Legion gains Haste, increasing March Speed by 20% for 10s.

Butcher’s Blade

- Mode: PvP
- Role: Assault
- Main Bonuses: Infantry Unit ATK, Legion ATK
- Skill lv.1: Casts immediately, dealing Physical Skill damage twice to up to 3 enemy Legions in a forward arc (Damage Factor 450 each time). Each additional target reduces damage dealt to each target by 15%.
Magic Bomb

- Main Bonuses: Magic Unit ATK, Legion ATK
- Skill lv.1: Throws a Magic Bomb at the target Legion. After 8s, the Magic Bomb explodes, dealing Magic Skill damage to up to 3 enemy Legions nearby (Damage Factor 900). Each additional target reduces damage dealt to each target by 15%.

Staff of the Prophet

- Units: Magic
- Rarity: Legendary
- Mode: Any
- Role: Mobility
- Main Bonuses: Magic Unit HP, Legion HP
- Skill lv.1: Casts on a selected friendly Legion within the current Region and within Alliance territory. After a 15s charge-up, 2 surrounding friendly Legions (including the target) are teleported to that Legion’s location. Teleportation will prioritize your Legion.
Freezing Ring

- Units: Magic
- Rarity: Epic
- Mode: Any
- Role: Tank
- Main Bonuses: Magic Unit DEF, Legion HP
- Skill lv.1: Casts immediately. Grants Ice Defense to your Legion, making it immune to all damage, but unable to carry out actions. Effective for up to 5s. After Ice Defense ends, up to 10 surrounding enemy Legions are Slowed, reducing their March Speed by 30% for 8s.
Kurata’s Wrath

- Units: All unit types
- Rarity: Legendary
- Mode: Peacekeeping
- Role: Any
- Main Bonuses: Peacekeeping Damage, Legion ATK
- Skill lv.1: Casts on up to 10 friendly Legions in a designated circle, increasing the damage they deal to Darklings and Dark creatures by 20% for 10s.
Blade of Reproach

- Units: Cavalry
- Rarity: Epic
- Mode: Peacekeeping
- Role: Any
- Main Bonuses: Cavalry Unit ATK, Peacekeeping Damage
- Skill lv.1: Casts on the target Legion (Darklings, Dark Creatures, and Behemoths only), dealing physical Skill damage (Damage Factor 1,000). If this skill defeats the target Legion, 1 buff effect is granted. For each buff effect gained, the damage is increased by 20%, stacking up to 5 times.
Bomb Flinger

- Units: Marksman
- Rarity: Epic
- Mode: Peacekeeping
- Role: Any
- Main Bonuses: Marksman Unit ATK, Legion ATK 3%
- Skill lv.1: Deals damage to the selected legion of Darklings, Dark Creatures, and Behemoths. Damaged targets have a chance to get stunned.
C Tier Artifacts
back to tier listThis tier includes the most efficient productivity-related Artifacts. These should only be used for activities like Gathering and Engineering, as they have no direct impact on your heroes’ battle performance. Picking any of these will help you get plenty of resources so you can speed up your progress in the game.
Lucia’s Horn

- Units: All unit types
- Rarity: Legendary
- Mode: Gathering
- Role: Any
- Main Bonuses: Overall Gathering Speed, Legion DEF
- Skill lv.1: Casts immediately. After a short charge-up, a random Resource Point located in Alliance territory near your Legion is refreshed (minimum level 4, maximum level 5). Charging cannot be interrupted.
Ancient Tree Roots

- Units: All unit types
- Rarity: Legendary
- Mode: Gathering
- Role: Any
- Main Bonuses: Legion Load Capacity, Legion HP
- Skill lv.1: Casts immediately. After a short charge-up, teleports your Legion to a random unmanned high-level Resource Point within a certain range. Moving, being attacked, or gaining control effects can interrupt charging.
Greenfinger Sickle

- Units: All unit types
- Rarity: Epic
- Mode: Gathering
- Role: Any
- Main Bonuses: Legion Load Capacity, Legion HP
- Skill lv.1: Casts while gathering Gold, Wood, Ore, and Mana. Immediately gathers resources from a chosen Resource Point (Gold/Wood 100,000, Ore 75,000, and Mana 40,000). The resources gathered cannot exceed the Legion’s Capacity or the remaining amount of resources at the Resource Point.
Potion of Vigor

- Units: Infantry
- Rarity: Epic
- Mode: Engineering
- Role: Any
- Main Bonuses: Building Engineering, Legion HP
- Skill lv.1: Casts immediately. Increases Legion’s Engineering by 50% for 1,800s.
Illusory Gems

- Units: All

- Skill lv.1: Upon use, it scatters Gems behind your legion for a short period of time (is just an esthetic effect).

We took into consideration their overall power for both, PvP and PvE combat modes, their bonuses and skills, and their overall usefulness.
